Bay County 4-H

4-H is a fun, educational program for young people, ages 5-18. 4-H has something for everyone -- and anyone can join. No membership fees are required, although some project materials and activities may have a cost. Joining a 4-H club is a great way to have fun, learn new things and meet people.

The Bay District Media Center is a fully functioning Media Resource center for Bay County school teachers. It is also available for use by all taxpaying citizens who home school their own children.
Some of the services the Media Center has available are:
Used curriculum room - free books, no longer used by the public schools
Educational videos
Cut-out dies of various shapes
Computer program previews and support
A special History of Bay County CD-ROM program

Boy Scouts Lake Sands District

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. Cup Scouts Pack 303

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA's three membership divisions. (The others are Boy Scouting and Venturing.)

Covenant Christian School welcomes homeschoolers in their extracurricular activities, including sports, band, P.E., and others.
Homeschool students are welcome to enroll in any classes/programs offered at Panama City Christian School.

Florida Virtual School

Florida Virtual School is an accredited, public, online e-learning school serving students in grades K-12 all over the world.

Gulf Coast Community College Dual Enrollment

GCCC offers dual enrollment to homeschool students. You must be at least 16 in order to participate.
Contact the Dual Enrollment Office at 747-3207.
Go to GCCC to take the Placement Test. You can visit their web site for the schedule and sample questions that may appear on the placement test.

The Homeschool Buyers Co-op is the nation's largest purchasing cooperative for homeschooling families.

Junior Museum Of Bay County

The Junior Museum of Bay County offers learning adventures for kids of all ages, from 1 to 92. Exciting exhibits await you, along with hands-on workshops, special events, regularly scheduled children's activities, programs and Adventure Camps.
